Delta Allows Free Flight Changes Ahead of Weekend Storm out East

Delta Air Lines will let anyone who has flight plans may be affected by the upcoming winter weather out east to make free changes.

The company is allowing one-time changes to customer travel schedules without fees who may be impacted by Nor' Easter.

Delta officials are closely monitoring conditions along the storm's forecast path and encourages customers to consider moving up, postponing or re-routing their travel to avoid possible inconvenience from expected flight delays.

According to a news release, customers who booked Delta flights to, from or through the following cities between Feb. 8 and 9 may immediately rebook for travel before or after their original travel dates as long as new flights are ticketed and rescheduled with travel beginning by Feb. 12, 2013.

    * Bangor, Maine
    * Binghamton, N.Y.
    * Boston, Mass.
    * Buffalo, N.Y.
    * Burlington, Vt.
    * Elmira, N.Y.
    * Hartford, Conn.
    * Ithaca, N.Y.
    * Manchester, N.H.
    * Montreal, QC, Canada
    * New York, N.Y. (JFK and LaGuardia)
    * Newark, N.J.
    * Newburgh, N.Y.
    * Ottawa, ONT, Canada
    * Philadelphia, Pa.
    * Portland, Maine
    * Providence, R.I.
    * Rochester, N.Y.
    * Scranton, Pa.
    * Syracuse, N.Y.
    * White Plains, N.Y.

Delta officials are expecting big delays at these airports.
