Erik Haula scored two goals to lead top-ranked Minnesota to a 4-2 win over St. Cloud State on Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

The top-ranked Golden Gophers (19-4-4, 11-4-4) scored twice with the teams skating 4-on-4 in the third period. Haula broke the 2-2 tie at 9:32 and Nate Schmidt followed with an insurance goal 58 seconds later.

The eighth-ranked and WCHA-leading Huskies (17-11-1, 14-6-1) tied the game on Drew LeBlanc's power-play goal at 3:59 of the third. Joey Benik had St. Cloud State's other goal.
