The Minnesota Wild placed goaltender Josh Harding on the injured reserve Saturday afternoon, four days after Harding sat out the game against the Vancouver Canucks.
Harding sat out Tuesday night because he said his body didn't feel right after he started new medication to battle multiple sclerosis.
Harding was diagnosed with MS in in November, but said he will continue his hockey career.
In turn, the Wild recalled forwards Johan Larsson and Jason Zucker from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. Both are expected to make their debuts Sunday as the Wild host the Detroit Red Wings.
Larsson has 27 points in 50 games with Houston this season. Zucker leads the Aeros with 41 points.
Zucker had two assists in six games with the Wild last season.
