JOB TITLE: Local Sales Manager-Hubbard Television

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Occasional
evenings and weekends for client entertainment
STATUS: Full Time, Salaried
QUALIFICATIONS:

Significant broadcast sales management experience
-
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed budgets
-
Demonstrated ability to manage high level sales projects to completion
-
Prior experience with teaching, training, and recruiting; proven ability to motivate local sales staff

Must be able to motivate the staff and at the same time understand each person's unique individual talents
-
Ideal candidate will be customer focused

Ability to work with each local account manager to build strong base of business through local direct client contact

Strong computer and presentation skills

Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and a safe driving history as determined by the Company (driving record will be checked)
DUTIES:
-
Responsible for making and exceeding sales budgets for the stations
-
Responsible for sales management of "Transactional Sales Team" to include both new and transactional business on KSTP, KSTC, Twin Cities Live and all digital assets

Effectively lead, develop, motivate, coach and train local staff
-
Assist sales staff in setting, meeting and exceeding their individual and sales goals
-
Hire and train new staff
-
Spend time in the field coaching and cultivating relationships with employees and customers
-
Establish good working relationships and work effectively with all members of station management
-
staff and corporate departments
