Some Central Minnesota residents will soon be getting a survey asking about health and wellness issues.
The Central Minnesota Community Health Survey is being mailed at the end of the month to about 12,000 households and will ask questions about health care access, nutrition, physical activity, tobacco use, mental health, and other topics, according to Stearns County officials.
The survey is conducted by St. Paul-based Wilder Research and is a collaborative effort between local public health agencies and CentraCare Health Systems. According to Stearns County officials, the data will be used to create health promotion priorities and assess residents’ health statuses.
