The transcript of a 911 call was released in the case of teen girl who was found dead in a Maplewood park.

The 911 call was made by the mother of the suspect, 17-year-old Anthony Joseph Mitchell Jr.

Mitchell was charged in the case with intentional second-degree murder and unintentional second-degree murder in the death of 16-year-old Anna Hurd of North St. Paul.

In the 911 call Mitchell's mother told the operator her son's girlfriend (Hurd) had left to go to another friend's house.

"She took the trail by our house and she never called to tell us she got there and my son is saying that she's on the trail and she's hurt."

In the background of the call a male was sobbing saying, "I didn't do it."

The operator asked if the woman's son was crying in the background. Mitchell's mother said, "Yes, he's scared... she's still on the trail."

The operator could hear the boy (Mitchell) say in the background, "She was dragged into the trees."

The operator questioned how (Mitchell) knew (Hurd) was dragged into the trees. His mother said, "Because he went looking for her and found her in the trees."

Mitchell said blood was all over his hands because he tried to give her CPR. He added, she had no pulse and wouldn't wake up.
