Former Sen. Norm Coleman tells KSTP political reporter Tom Hauser he will not run for public office in 2014.

That means no rematch with Al Franken in a U.S. Senate race, or run for governor against Mark Dayton.

Coleman says he plans to focus his efforts on the American Action Network and the Minnesota Action Network to "mentor a new generation of leaders who believe in common sense and limited government."
