A Shoreview man suffered serious injuries after police say he pulled out in front of a squad car with activated lights and siren.
The crash happened around 10:51 a.m. Thursday on Lexington Avenue at Nelson Drive in Shoreview.
According to the incident report, Ramsey County Deputy Ronald Durkot of Arden Hills was driving northbound on Lexington with activated lights and siren when 56-year-old Randall Herman of Shoreview pulled out in front of the squad car going westbound on Nelson.
Durkot suffered minor injuries and Herman suffered serious injuries.
