Could your toddler be getting too much salt?
A new report by the American Heart Association shows 75 percent of commercial baby foods contain excess sodium. The bigger problem was with toddler meals, which contained 630 milligrams of sodium; that’s 40 percent above recommended levels for kids for an entire day.
Doctors are concerned too much sodium for kids can lead to high blood pressure early in life.
