Sunshine is expected to continue Saturday across the Twin Cities.

However, temperatures remain below average in the metro, according to KSTP.com Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas.

On Saturday, temps are expected to reach 36 degrees, with a temperature of 24 degrees during the night. Sunset is expected at 7:30 p.m.

Although weather is mild Saturday in the Twin Cities, storms in Denver and Dallas have caused flight delays. Flights were delayed up to two hours in Denver because of a snowstorm, and up to an hour in Dallas because of severe thunder storms.

A snow storm also is hitting states south of Minnesota, including Nebraska and Iowa.

On Sunday, weather in the Twin Cities is expected to be breezier with temps reaching 34 degrees. On Monday, light snow could hit the metro.

Temperatures are expected to reach the 40's by Thursday.
