Do you want to know how the City works?  Are you interested in finding getting an in-depth look into City departments and programs?  If so, there's still time to join the Citizens Academy.  It officially begins April 4th.

Assistant City Manager Jim Genellie writes, "Every year the City of Hopkins offers you a free opportunity to find out more about how your City works."

The Citizens Academy is described as "a five-week course designed to give you an in-depth look into City departments and programs. Each City department team will bring attendees behind the scenes and into the operations. The sessions, which run from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, are designed to be interactive as well as fun and informative."

If you are interested in attending the 2013 Citizens Academy, fill out the application form or Jim says you can contact him by emailing jgenellie@hopkinsmn.com.
