A woman killed in a hit-and-run crash last weekend in Minneapolis has been identified as 70-year-old Mee Lor.

The alleged driver Perry Bernard Atkins, 24, was arrested on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide.

Police say Atkins hit Lor shortly at about 1 p.m. Saturday at Fremont and 21st avenues north. Paramedics treated the woman at the scene, according to police.

Lor, of Minneapolis, was transported to North Memorial Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. She died from multiple blunt force injury, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, which released her identity Tuesday.

Minneapolis police investigated the scene and interviewed witnesses. Later Saturday, police located the suspect's unoccupied vehicle near the crash scene.

Investigators identified Atkins as the suspect and questioned and arrested him.
