The 12-year-old boy accused of a prank 911 call made about an active shooter at New Prague Middle School is now able to go home.
The boy's attorney, Marsh Halberg, says the boy appeared in court Monday morning along with family members. He’s been charged with felony terroristic threats after allegedly calling 911 around 7:55 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, saying there was a shooting at New Prague Middle School. The caller claimed there were two victims.
Police say they received two calls from the same deactivated phone regarding the New Prague threat.
The judge allowed the boy to go home under the condition that he has 24/7 adult supervision. He’s been in the juvenile detention facility since last week.
His next hearing is scheduled for April 22.
