The man shot to death in a Brooklyn Park home over the weekend has been identified.

24-year-old Chue Yeng Xiong of St. Paul died of a gunshot wound of the head, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

Xiong was found around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in a home on the 10000 block of Georgia Avenue North near 68th Avenue North.

Brooklyn Park police said the shooting stemmed from a disagreement at the home during a party.

Police Inspector Todd Milburn said six people were arrested Sunday in connection to the homicide.

Names of the suspects have not been released and no charges have been filed yet.

"The investigation is still ongoing," said Milburn.
