Many baseball fans like to stick to the traditional popcorn, peanuts and Cracker Jacks, but for Twins fans who want something a little different, check out the lineup of new foods at Target Field this season:
Mac’s Fish and Chips
Mac’s Fish and Chips will be at Section 133. The St. Paul restaurant started as a popular fish ‘n chips shack and built loyalty with its fresh-battered walleye.
Sheboygan Sausage Co.
Four varieties of sausage are joining the Target Field food lineup, including Italian, Polish, bratwurst and cedar bratwurst. Sheboygan sausages will be available at several different concession stands, and Kramarczuk’s sausage will be at portable grill locations throughout the stadium.
Panino’s Baked Sandwiches
Panino’s Baked Sandwiches is a popular St. Paul staple. The Buffalo Chicken Panino and Spaghetti Pie Panino will be served at Frankie V’s concessions.
Andrew Zimmern’s AZ Canteen
Celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern of the Travel Channel’s “Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern” will offer AZ Canteen at Section 120. It will feature the Canteen Burger, which is a lamb and goat blend with house-made chips.
Twins Territory Market
For those looking for healthier choices or allergy-specific options, the new Twins Territory Market will be in Section 122.
Roots for the Home Team
Roots for the Home Team is expanding its service by adding fresh, locally-grown produce on Saturdays and Sundays starting June 1. They will sell creative salad recipes exclusively at Target Field.
Papa John’s Pizza
Papa John’s will be serving personal pizzas from Frankie V’s concessions on the main and terrace levels.
Kemps will be selling soft-serve ice cream and novelties. A new addition is the Kemps SnoBlitz, which will be available at locations throughout the stadium and sold in the stands.
New Restaurant and Club Menu Items
Fish tacos, homemade meatloaf sandwiches, a flank steak salad, and a summer fiesta salad will now be served at Hrbek’s. At Town Ball Tavern, a French dip sandwich, Summit beer-battered walleye fingers, and a roasted apple and baby spinach salad will be served. Sesame chicken bahn mi, a smoked turkey and brie sandwich, a wild mushroom and Swiss burger, a mozzarella a la Caprese salad, and a BBQ jack burger will be sold at the Metropolitan Club.
