Fifteen years ago today, a tornado nearly wiped the town of St. Peter off the map.
In all, 14 tornadoes hit the state that day; two people were killed, and the twisters did about $235 million in damage.
The town of 11,000 is a little more than an hour drive southwest of the Twin Cities.
