Anoka County Officials Investigate Apparent Murder in Columbus

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder in Columbus.

Deputies were called around 9:30 p.m. Monday after a body was found near a vehicle in a cul-de-sac of Zodiac Street Northeast. Officials say the man was dead and that foul play is suspected.

The victim is a 50-year-old Asian man with a last known address in St. Paul. He has no known association with the neighborhood in Columbus, police say.

The case is considered a murder investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 763-427-1212.
