April 15-19 is Severe Weather Awareness Week, so Roseville Fire and Police Departments are asking residents and businesses to review emergency plans for taking shelter in case of a storm.
Each day of the week, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety will promote a better understanding of different types of severe weather and what you can do to protect yourself and your family.
Monday, April 15: Weather Alerts and Warnings
Tuesday, April 16: Severe Storms, Lightning and Winds
Wednesday, April 17: Floods and Flash floods
Thursday, April 18: Tornado Drill Day: Emergency sirens will sound at 1:45 p.m. and 6:55 p.m
Friday, April 19: Heat Waves
Please review what to do in each type of emergency.
Businesses are encouraged to review plans and make sure all employees know where to find shelter and what action to take in an emergency.
