Minneapolis homeowners were surprised after they apparently found a World War II bomb inside the wall of their home.
The Minneapolis Bomb Squad said the people found it as they were remodeling Wednesday.
They decided to move it and then had second thoughts about having a bomb in their car, according to the bomb squad.
Authorities say they dumped the bomb on Aldrich Avenue near Lake Street. The area was blocked off for about 90 minutes so the bomb squad could remove it.
No one was evacuated during the incident.
The bomb squad says it's a Japanese mortar and casing.
According to Minneapolis Police the bomb contained no explosives and is no danger to the public.
