Community members interested in learning more about horticulture can attend the 2013 Home Landscaping and Garden Fair this weekend.

The fair is hosted by Anoka County Master Gardeners and will feature artists, local garden centers, landscape companies, and businesses selling garden products, plants, books, jewelry and more.

There will also be classes about best practices for gardening, trees and shrub care, and disease and pest control.

Sessions will feature Department of Horticulture Professor Dr. Vince Fritz on ‘Take Two Brussels Sprouts and Call Me in the Morning” and Bailey Nursery Planning and Administration Manager Debbit Lonnee on “Growing Perennials in Cold Climates.”

The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Bunker Hills Activities Center in Andover.
