The Twins will not be selling early entry tickets for fans to watch batting practices before some night games.
The early entry tickets - which the team's corporate communications announced earlier Tuesday - would have reportedly cost $15. With them, fans could enter Target Field 45 minutes before the gates open to watch the Twins batting practice.
At 4 p.m., the team reported that the release was prematurely distributed. "The early entry program outlined in the release was not fully vetted across the Twins organization."
"There will be no change in policy regarding gate opening times and the season ticket holders will continue to be given early-access priority as part of the Sweet Spot program," the team reported later in the statement.
