Student athletes are learning a lesson in patience, thanks to our spring weather.
In Osseo, the softball team has lost out on the first two weeks of the season because of the cold, wet weather.
Players have had to practice inside in the school gym, even the hallway, and that's a challenge because they're not the only ones needing the gym space.
Teams around the state have been postponing games.
The delays could eventually mean double-headers and Saturday meets to catch up.
"We're going to try to reschedule everything, but it may just be one of those springs where we end up playing a shortened schedule, " says Osseo Activities Director Ray Kirch
Baseball, golf, lacrosse and track teams are also feeling the impact.
