Some Parking Restrictions in Effect in the Metro

The following snow emergency and parking restrictions went into effect Thursday:

Mendota Heights

The city has declared a snow emergency.

The alert went into effect at 9:25 a.m. Thursday.

It will remain in effect until all streets are plowed full width, the city reported.

St. Louis Park

The city has a parking ban currently in effect. The ban automatically starts anytime new snow accumulation reaches 3 inches, according to the city.

Parking along city streets can resume once streets are plowed curb-to-curb. More information about the restrictions is available here.
