$1K Reward Offered in North Minneapolis Murder Case

The Minneapolis Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Minnesota are asking for the public’s help in identifying two possible murder suspects.

Police say 34-year-old Tommy Bardney was found dead around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, on the 1000 block of Humboldt Avenue North.

According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Bardney died from a gunshot wound to the head.

An investigation has revealed that two suspects were inside a white Chevrolet Uplander at the time. Investigators believe the vehicle is a 2005-2008 model.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or suspects is asked to call 612-692-8477 and reference case number 13-097569.
