The Minnesota Twins announced the game against the New York Mets is being rescheduled, due to the weather.
Sunday’s game will be made up on Monday, August 19 at 1:10 p.m.
The Mets won the first two games of the series at Target Field, with temperatures in the low 30s. On a windy Sunday morning, light snow was falling. The afternoon forecast was calling for rain and a high of 42 degrees.
Fans holding tickets the April 14 game have two options, according to a release from the Twins:
1.) Utilize their tickets for admission into the August 19 game.
2.) Utilize the value of their ticket (the amount paid) as a voucher towards any future Twins regular season game in 2013. Fans who wish to exchange their tickets for another game must bring the tickets to the Target Field Box Office no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the rescheduled game. Tickets returned any later than 48 hours prior to the start of the rescheduled game will be considered invalid. Tickets may be exchanged only at the Target Field Ticket Office located on Target Plaza off 7th Street.
There are no refunds available for the postponed game.
