Public Schools Rank High in MN's Best High Schools

Where's the best high school in Minnesota?

A new 2013 U.S. News and World Report says the top 20 high schools in Minnesota stretch from the Twin Cities to the northern and southern tips of the state.

Mahtomedi Senior High School ranked no. 1 with a student-teacher ratio of 20:1, college readiness of about 58 percent, and more than 3 percent above proficiency in reading and math, according to the report.

Edina High School, St. Anthony Village High School, TrekNorth High School in Bemidji, and Wayzata High School also ranked in the top five.
