The Twin Cities metro area caught a break from heavy snow while areas south of the metro are looking like a winter wonderland on May 2.
The metro area saw less snow accumulation than previously forecast because the storm shifted south and east. KSTP Meteorologist Patrick Hammer says this historic storm has dumped 13 inches of snow in Owatonna.
So far 6 inches fell in Hastings, 7 inches hit River Falls and 5 inches fell in part of Woodbury. Click here for a list of snowfall totals.
