The Vikings had three 1st round draft picks hit the team's practice field for the first time this weekend at Winter Park.

Sharrif Floyd, Xavier Rhodes and Cordarrelle Patterson were the first trio of players selected in the 1st round by one team since 2001, and each got acclimated with the Vikings playbook for the first time this weekend.

Floyd, a defensive tackle out of the University of Florida, was the first player taken by the Vikings with the 23rd overall pick in the draft.

Rhodes is a physical cornerback from Florida State who should fit the Vikings cover two scheme well.

The Vikings moved back into the 1st round to take Patterson with the 29th overall pick.   He scored 10 touchdowns as wide receiver and returner for the University of Tennessee.
