A group that helps Minnesotans living with HIV and Aids plans to break ground on a new home Monday.
The Aliveness Project is working to renovate a building at 38th and Nicollet Avenue in South Minneapolis.
Right now, the group serves more than 1,700 people in a space designed for just 400 people.
The new space will allow the group to meet the growing needs of HIV patients in Minnesota.
A ground breaking ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. Monday.
