A popular televangelist – who’s no stranger to controversy – is setting off another firestorm.
It all started when Rev. Pat Robertson answered a question about forgiving a cheating husband. He told the “700 Club” viewer to remember why she married her husband and suggested trying to fall in love with him again.
The way he ended his response led to outrage.
"Males have a tendency to wander a little bit, and what you want to do is make the home so wonderful that he doesn't want to wander,” he said.
The internet comments came pouring in, but some of Robertson’s biggest critics on this are his fellow Christian leaders.
“Historically Christians take personal responsibilities for our actions and immoral choices and don't blame those on other people,” Christian Author Gabe Lyons said.
Earlier this year Robertson came under fire when he suggested a woman’s looks might be to blame for her husband’s drinking problem.
