It used to be drunk driving, and now it’s texting and driving, as the No. 1 cause of teenage deaths on the road.
A new study said each year more than 3,000 teens are killed, and 300,000 are hurt because of texting behind the wheel.
Those numbers are compared to drunk driving, where 2,700 teens are killed and 282,000 are injured.
To prevent this, Toyota is teaming up with Teen Vogue Magazine to offer advice to parents.
KSTP talked to Teen Vogue editor Jessica Duncan and Toyota Representative Tina Sayer.
