A weekly ritual of going to church is going to change for the members of one St. Paul parish.
St. John's Catholic Church will hold its final Sunday service on June 30.
It has served the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood for 127 years.
A shrinking congregation is among the reasons why the church is locking its doors. The building will be put up for sale.
After June 30 St. John's will merge with St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church.
The two churches are about two miles apart.
