A 102 mph line drive hit Tampa Bay Rays Pitcher, Alex Cobb, in the head on Sunday.

Cobb tweeted that he woke up with only a minor head ache and would be okay.

This is just one of many head injuries the world of baseball has seen this year regarding pitchers. Many players have voiced concern about their safety and there is a push for pitching helmet. One design suggests putting bullet-proof Kevlar in the helmet.
