The Minnesota high school class of 2014 "Big 3" needs to start being referred to the "Big 4." Add Lakeville North shooting guard J.P. Macura to the threesome of Apple Valley's Tyus Jones, DeLaSalle's Reid Travis, and soon-to-be prep school shooting guard Rashad Vaughn (formerly of Robbinsdale Cooper).

Macura took an unofficial visit to the Gophers' offices on Wednesday, per a team source. An official scholarship offer is expected soon. He was led around the Bierman Building by assistant coach Ben Johnson. Head coach Richard Pitino is on vacation this week, but has been talking with Macura by phone.

According to, Macura will take an official visit to Butler on Thursday. Some say they're the favorite to land the 6'4" shooting star.

In addition to Butler, Iowa State, Xavier, Kansas State, and Boston College have also offered Macura.
