Last time the Minnesota Lynx were in Los Angeles, coach Cheryl Reeve was furious after a 28-point loss.

What happens now after a 30-point loss?

The Sparks handled every facet of the game in beating the Lynx 96-66 at Staples Center.  The Lynx fall to 7-3 on the season, with two of the three losses being blowouts on the Sparks home court - where the Lynx have lost 10 of their last 11 appearances.

The Lynx allowed season-worsts for points in a half (60) and points in a game (96) as Candace Parker scored a season-high 27 points for L.A.

Lindsay Whalen's 19 points and Rebekah Brunson's 18 points and 12 rebounds paced the Lynx in the loss.

The Lynx now have a four-day layoff before a pair of home games, opened by Sunday's meeting against Phoenix at Target Center.
