Authorities say an arrest has been made in the death of a Minnesota native who had been missing in Colorado.

Human remains were discovered near a cabin in Park County, Colorado on Thursday, July 4. Authorities determined they were those of Leann "Annie" Meyer.

The cause of death has not yet been determined. Wheat Ridge Police Department Investigations Commander Dave Pickett said the remains were found in a very rural area and that there had been "significant animal activity."

Meyer is from St. Peter, Minn., and went missing in Colorado back in February.

On Monday afternoon, Wheat Ridge Police arrested Meyer's 54-year-old roommate, Melissa Miller. Miller is being held without bond at the Park County Detention Facility.

Miller has been questioned but has denied killing Meyer.
