A transformer explosion caused a fire at an office building in St. Louis Park.

The explosion was in the basement around 11 a.m. at 600 Highway 169, which reportedly is the Metropoint 600 Energy Star Commercial Building, also known as the Interchange Tower. The building is near Interstate 394.

The building still has smoke in the basement and has been evacuated, according to St. Louis Park police. The fire is a three-alarm blaze. There were no injuries.

The building is managed by Cushman & Wakefield and owned by BPG Properties, Ltd. The building is about 350,000 square feet. There are several offices in the building.
