Swimmer's Body Recovered in McLeod County

The body of a missing swimmer was found at Hook Lake near Hutchinson.

According to the McLeod County Sheriff's Office, the missing swimmer has been identified as 68-year-old Keith Wilken of rural Fairmont.

The sheriff's office received a call around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday of a man, later identified as Wilken, trying to swim across Hook Lake and never resurfacing. His body was later found.

Wilken was at the lake with his family, according to the Sheriff's Department.

At this point additional details have not been released.
