Former Minnesota Viking Caleb King has pleaded guilty to interfering with a 911 call and fifth-degree Assault.

The charges stem from a birthday party in the city of Oak Grove in April of 2012, where the 25-year-old King was accused of punching a man in the face.

The victim was taken to the hospital with a skull fracture and nasal fracture, according to the Anoka County Attorney. The victim received 19 sutures.

“I am satisfied that Mr. King is taking responsibility for his actions that night,” said Tony Palumbo, Anoka County Attorney.

Sentencing is set for Aug. 28.
