Travel Thursday: Airline Fines, Boarding and Tweets

This week's Travel Thursday is all about the airlines.

Southwest Airlines was fined by the US Department of Transportation for advertising sales but not having enough seats, or any seats at all. The company was fined $200,000 for their February sale.

An astrophysicist says he has the key to ending boarding lines. Jason Steffen has designed a boarding process where passengers board two rows apart starting at the window seats and working toward the aisle.

Delta Airlines took to Twitter this week with a parody of Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back." The tweet read, "We like big jets and we cannot lie, this 737 is ready to fly." Followers have had mixed reactions to the tweet.
