Two Minnesota restaurants are getting national attention from the foodie magazine Bon Appétit, which named the eateries two of the 50 Best New Restaurants in 2013.
The New York publication selected World Street Kitchen, 2743 Lyndale Ave. S. in Minneapolis, and Borough, 730 N. Washington Ave. in Minneapolis, for the list.

Borough ranked no. 9. The restaurant is one of the latest warehouse-turned-restaurants in the North Loop. The space has antique-cheese-grater light fixtures and mismatched flatware.
Two alums from the restaurant Travail, which is relocating, run the kitchen. The menu includes oysters, pasta, tofu and more.
World Street Kitchen ranked no. 49. At the casual, industrial space, diners order at the counter, then grab a seat. The kitchen is known for its affordable international food, including rice bowls, "Bangkok Burritos" and the biggest biscuit sandwiches.
