Thursday night is the first of two public meetings on the Metro Blue Line extension that would go from Target Field to Brooklyn Park.
Residents will get an update on the 13-mile line’s progress as well as what they can expect at the stations. The meeting will focus on the Plymouth Avenue and Golden Valley Road stations.
The line is expected to give 27,000 rides a day by the year 2030.
Thursday’s meeting is from 6:15-8 p.m. at Unity Church in Golden Valley. The next meeting is next Tuesday in Minneapolis.
