With Labor Day fast approaching, many people are looking to sneak in one last summer vacation.
According to Travelocity, hotel prices this Labor Day are up about 12 percent over last year. The average rate for a hotel is $171 a night. Travelocity suggests booking a cheap price if you see it because rates will only get more expensive.
The top Labor Day destinations are New York City, Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles and Chicago.
