101-Year-Old Woman Dies, Hit by St. Paul Squad

Authorities have identified the 101-year-old woman who died after she was hit by a St. Paul Police squad car.

The woman has been identified as Roza Sakhina. She was hit by the squad car near Cleveland Avenue South and Ford Parkway around 3 p.m. Friday.

Police say the squad car was slowly backing away from the scene of an investigation when it either bumped or nudged Sakhina.

She was knocked over and hit her head. She died Wednesday.
