A familiar face in Minnesota sports spent Sunday raising awareness for an illness he knows firsthand.
Minnesota Wild goaltender Josh Harding was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last year. He started the charity, Harding's Hope, to raise awareness and money for people who have MS.
He hosted a kickoff event Sunday at Pourhouse.
There were games, live music, food and drinks. There was also a silent auction with sports memorabilia.
Harding said he wanted everyone to leave the event knowing more about MS and more about his charity.
