There were some frightening moments for employees working the overnight shift at a McDonald's restaurant in Plymouth.

Plymouth police officers are still looking for the three suspects who robbed the McDonald’s near Highway 55 and Interstate 494. Officers say the robbers forced workers into the freezer at gunpoint around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. The workers were able to free themselves and were uninjured.

Police say the suspects showed a black semi-automatic handgun and took "an undetermined amount of money" and fled the scene. This happened in less than five minutes.

The suspects are believed to be three black men. They were wearing hooded sweatshirts. They all had their faces covered and were wearing white gloves. Descriptions from police are limited.

The case is under investigation. No additional information was available.
