Police have identified an infant who was shot in the neck last week in north Minneapolis.

Two-month-old Isaac Early, Jr. remained in critical condition Tuesday at Hennepin County Medical Center, according to the hospital. Police say they have arrested a teenager in custody in connection with the 2-month-old baby hit by gunfire.

Authorities say the 17-year-old male turned himself in to officials at city hall early Tuesday and was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.

Police had been looking for the teen, who is the uncle of the baby who was shot last week inside a house. Authorities believe the shooting was accidental.
