Hundreds of guns, fishing rods, and deer antlers will go up for sale this weekend.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is holding a public auction of confiscated hunting and fishing equipment on Saturday in Zimmerman. The DNR holds this auction almost every year.
The last time it brought in a record-breaking $176,000; all the money goes into the state game and fish fund. Click here for more information.
Hunting gear isn't all that the DNR is putting up for auction. They are also planning to put several pieces of land up for bid.
The 23 parcels the DNR owns are in Cook, Lake, Itasca and St. Louis Counties. Some of the properties are even lakeshore lots.
The public auction is slated for Friday, Oct. 25, in Two Harbors. Click here for the details on the land sale.
