Falcon Heights city officials are reminding drivers of a traffic disruption this weekend.

The University of Minnesota is hosting the 28th annual Roy Griak Cross Country Meet Saturday at Les Bolstad Golf Course, involving more than 300 teams and 4,000 students. There will be 10 races with teams from Division I, II, and III competing during the day.

Because of all the activity, one westbound lane of Larpenteur Avenue West will be blocked off between Cleveland Avenue North and Fullham Street.

The closure will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. The area will be used for a drop-off and pick-up zone for the athletes.
