Washington County officials are postponing an intersection improvement study in Stillwater.
The study would look at reducing traffic congestion at Owens Street and Myrtle Street. The study was originally planned for 2014, but county officials say the construction of the St. Croix Crossing bridge project will be changing traffic patterns in Stillwater.
City and county officials decided it would be best to delay the study until after the bridge project is finished so they can better analyze the long-term traffic patterns.
